After the yes it creates the service, the record types Sentence and Word, the flow Analyse Sentence and a web endpoint at POST /analyze. Authentication and user management
People sign up with an email or with Google. An order or a booking can belong to the person who made it.
Database and record rules
Say what your backend stores, and which values it accepts.
Flows, by you and your agent
Your agent defines what your backend does as steps, one sentence each. Typestate checks every step, runs it, and draws the action so you can follow it.
Web endpoints with rate limits
The address your app calls. You set who may call it and how often.
Files
Store what people upload, and give each file only to the people allowed to see it.
Timers
Run a step of your backend at set times, for example every night at 02:00, in your time zone.
External services and webhooks

GermanSentence runs its whole backend on Typestate
GermanSentence takes a German sentence apart word by word and names the grammar rule behind each word.

GermanSentence is built end to end on Typestate. Typestate hosts its website, germansentence.com. Claude defined its API with our MCP tools: 35 actions in English behind 34 web endpoints. The actions ask a language model through OpenRouter, and every night a timer reads the new articles from Tagesschau. People sign in to keep a study list of their own, and each account gets a daily allowance of new analyses.

What an action run is
One action running once, whatever started it. Files your site serves are free. A call that reaches no action is not a run, for example a robot that looks for WordPress, and an answer from the cache is not a run either. An action change is an action written or edited. One customer built a whole first backend with fewer than 20 of them.
What happens at the limit
At 80 percent of your plan you get a warning. Past it, Sandbox pauses and Live keeps answering. On Starter, Live pauses too, until you top up. If a payment fails, we write to you before anything stops.
